Rich in History, the Microtech Mini UDT (Under Water Demolition Team) predates just about every coil fired automatic knife that was ever collected or carried. These little precision-machined knives with high speed bearing steel blades made their debut at Florida gunshows back in 1994 and they were produced up until late 1995. At the time this was the only model Microtech made (est. production, 800 knives) and they quickly changed the design to a larger knife (The L-UDT) to capture more of the Military / Law Enforcement market. his latest run of this excellent little knife, that for many collectors and makers alike ignited a passion (frenzy?) for coil fired switches in the mid 90s, is trimmed to perfection and maintains the original factory specs. To say the least this was certainly the very first automatic knife ever offered by PVK more than a decade ago. This knife was and still is the benchmark for everything else to spring out in the years ahead - the standard by which all others would be judged. We think you'll agree it's still the best of the best! This particular Mini UDT is a rare model with a safety.
