This is the manual folding version of the Microtech Select Fire dual action knife.

The Microtech Select Fire is an extremely innovative design featuring a special key to turn the switch from manual mode to automatic fire mode, while the knife is in manual fire mode the push button is rendered in operable and the only way to deploy the blade is via the dual sided thumb stud. Once you turn the switch to automatic fire the blade can still be deployed via the thumb stub but also the push button while snap out the blade into the locked position at lightning speed, this is a traditional coil fired automatic making it even more of a unique mechanism. The Select Fire is presented in classic Microterch fashion with carbon fiber handle inserts and jimping for grip all along the spine of the handle spacer and lower section of the blade.
