This Variant is the culmination of so many techniques and design philosophies from this maker. First the chisel ground flipper blade in the makers Dark Rain finish features two deep fullers biting away at the blade stock, then flip the knife over to reveal a high polish cutting edge. Second the handle has a matching opposite facing tear drop groove that has an orange peel finish unlike the rest of the handle that has the makers signature bark finish. The details are immense on this expertly finished knife including the the orange peel dual pivot collars and the graceful organic form of the pocket clip.



John Gray makes knives with his hands much in the way knives used to be made without the use of large programmable mills.
