The 906 Arrakis comes on the heels of the Eschaton, We Knives' first
collaborative effort with Elijah Isham. It was a knife that took us by
surprise at the time with its dynamic styling, superb build quality, and
surprisingly stellar ergonomics. However, production was very limited
and many Isham and We fans were left without one of those coveted
blades. The Arrakis is here to change that, with a very similar look and
feel to the Eschaton, but with a more usable blade shape.
The
Arrakis features We Knives' superb flipping action and Elijah's
attention to detail, however, it's the construction of this knife that
impresses us the most. The handle is made with an integral gray titanium
frame with carbon fiber scales and an inset liner lock mechanism. The
gray frame doesn't extend all the way to the pivot but ends at the point
where the carbon fiber scales begin and we've only ever seen this done
once before. The pocket clip, backspacer, screws, pivot cap, and washers
are all 6Al4V titanium for maximum quality assurance and you have a
finger choil for fine detail work. Everything about this knife is well
thought out and superbly executed, and we are proud to present it to you
as your next everyday carry or maybe even safe queen.
