As part of the original Black Knife project Reese has been making and designing mechanisms and riffing on styles for a long time. His work from the original Microtech Hawk, LCC and Combat Talon project over the years has put him in contact with many makers and styles.


Reese still works in the almost baron field of automatic knife makers specializing in dual action mechanisms and OTF's.

Reese still uses manual style mills, no CNC here! These knives are products of hand turned and cranked skill, years of understanding materials and tolerances.
