Over a decade ago 4 prototypes were built and plans were set in motion to build the Marfione Emerson Commander Deual Action collaboration. The knife could open manually with that signature Emerson thumb disk or in auto mode with Marfione's dual action auto system. It could also be opened with the Emerson wave feature when drawn from the pocket. Technically it was a triple action design. These standard size challenge coins were also cast to mark this knife's production. The knives have yet to be built but you can get this cool challenge coin for your collection! These extremely rare .999 fine, verified as authentic, versions of the Marfione Emerson coin are all low serial number in the 70s and 80s.
