Imagined and built by German maker Stefan Seigerwald from Brass, Copper, Steel and Damascus, this intricate mechanical masterpiece is one of just a few similar knives this maker builds each year and is unique in final composition from any other with its coin door and relic technology display stand.
Opening the blade into the locked position does three different things: First large external gear on at the pivot pulls the handle together shortening the overall length of the grip. As this action is in progress there is a camera iris that is opening to reveal the watch mechanism in the pivot. Finally at the end of the action a safety engages on the coin door to prevent it from opening.
Played in reverse - closing the knife contracts the iris hiding the watch gears, spreads open the handle to accept the blade and releases the safety catch on the coin door. Which you may then open with the spring loaded tab to release the coins.
This knife includes The display stand and a certificate of authenticity from the maker.
