Description

NOS (New Old Stock) built in France in late 70s these were designed by French knife maker Arbalete G. David and sold under the Gimel Bargeon brand. These knives feature mirror-polished stainless steel blades, bolsters and pommels. The handles are either the same polished stainless or black textured acrylic. The lock, liners and bail are all brass. The spring mechanism is very similar to the Italian stilettos - a stainless steel leaf. The blade fires out quick and lock solid. Unlike other all other similar switchblades, these unlock with either the main fire button or have a lock to depress on the backside of the knife and the safety switches are about 90% functional. For the edge the blades are reasonably sharp and could use a drag or two through any type of V sharpener to be ready for a days work.
